God Complex was a small solo game I built for the 7DFPS game jam in 2014. The player is an omnipresent entity that must keep a battle between red and blue going as long as possible. To do this, the player can possess and unpossess combatants and tilt the game either way, attempting to keep the game going as long as possible.
I had been using Unreal 4 for about 3 weeks when I started working on God Complex, and the entire game was built in 7 days.
Key areas that I learnt about while developing God Complex:
-Unreal gameplay framework basics
-AI and behaviour tree systems
-Rudimentary Shader creation
-UI and game flow logic
